Samia Binte Ahsan recently graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur, under the faculty of Agricultural Economics & Rural Development. She is currently conducting her MS in Agricultural Economics (Production Economics) under the Dept. of Agricultural Economics at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh .She is currently employed as a research assistant under the guidance of Professor (Assistant) A. K. M. Abdullah Al-Amin. She has completed her HSC in 2018 and SSC in 2016 both from Viqarunnisa Noon School and College.

Samia is motivated and hardworking. She is currently preparing for a government job in Bangladesh. Her dedication is helping her stay focused on her goal. She is deeply passionate about agriculture, agricultural economics, and agri-tech, with a specific focus on improving the welfare of smallholder farmers. Her research interests include the economics of Precision agriculture, Cropping systems and Farming systems.
