Research Profile

Rukaiya Merin Ruku is a MS student in Agricultural Economics (Production Economics) at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. She is a distinguished graduate of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, where she earned her BS degree in Agricultural Economics from the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. She currently serves as a research assistant under the mentorship of Professor (Assistant) A. K. M. Abdullah Al-Amin.

Rukaiya’s research is focused on "The economic analysis of adaptation strategies to climate change in the north-eastern region of Bangladesh". Her work is essential in helping smallholder farmers at the grassroot level adapt to the increasing challenges of climate change, providing them with strategies that are not only effective but also economically sustainable. Her research contributes to creating resilient agricultural practices that can withstand environmental pressures.

Beyond her professional work, Rukaiya is known for her enthusiasm for hands-on activities and her commitment to community service. She is driven by a deep curiosity to explore new ideas and find innovative solutions.
