Bristy Banik is an MS student in Agricultural Economics (Production Economics) at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. She has completed her B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics, under the faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology at the same University. Her MS thesis focuses on the “Adoption of Agricultural Machineries at Farm Level in Northern Bangladesh” for which she has awarded the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship. Along with this, Bristy Banik is currently working as a research associate with Professor (Assistant) A. K. M. Abdullah Al-Amin on the “Economics of Smallholders Arable Crop Farming Intensification with Two Wheel Machines (2WMs)”. She has hands-on experience in surveying data for different projects, demonstrating her capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Her research interests incorporate Farm Management, Agricultural Mechanization, Precision Agriculture, Production Economics, and Climate Change Dynamics. She is always seeking new opportunities to learn, explore, and make meaningful contributions to the agricultural and economic landscapes.
