Emthiaj Ahmad Nakib is a student of Postgraduate student conducting his MS  in Agricultural Economics (Production Economics) at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh. Mr. Nakib successfully completed his B.Sc. in 2021 from the faculty of Agricultural Economics and Business Studies at Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) Sylhet, Bangladesh. He has completed his HSC in 2016 at Hajera Taju University College, Chittagong, Bangladesh and SSC in 2014 at South Satkania Golam Bari Government Model High School, Chittagong, Bangladesh. He has served as Joint Secretary of Agricultural Economics and Business Studies Students Association at SAU. Mr. Nakib holds a profound interest in smallholders production economics to reconcile the production goals of productivity and profitability and environmental goal of limiting environmental footprint. His postgraduate research focuses on the economics of smallholders' mixed cropping with whole farm conventional mechanization subject to binding constraints of land, labour and equipment times. Mr. Nakib’s  research interests includes economics of cropping systems intensification, Agri-Tech economics, and agroecology.
